About
The Rif at Mangrove Beach was developed as an all-inclusive resort where the experience extends well beyond the guest room. Today part of Curio Collection by Hilton, the resort brings together arrival, restaurants, outdoor amenities, beachfront spaces and guest accommodation as one destination experience.
For Corendon, that experience needed to become visible while development and construction were still moving forward. Working alongside Corendon’s creative direction and Bakovic Architects, Frame+View developed hospitality visualizations across multiple areas of the resort as they evolved. Together, the imagery created a coherent view of a destination that could already be communicated commercially before the finished spaces could be experienced or photographed.

A Resort Before Arrival
For a destination resort, the first idea to communicate is larger than any individual building or interior. The imagery needed to establish a sense of place: a beachfront environment in Curaçao where architecture, landscape, hospitality and leisure belong to the same experience. Starting at the water’s edge makes that broader promise visible before moving into the resort itself.

Arrival gives that destination an identity at a more human scale. Here, the reception experience, architecture and tropical surroundings come together so that the entrance reads not as an isolated lobby, but as the beginning of the stay. Openness toward the resort beyond was important to making that transition feel immediate and believable.
The shared hospitality spaces introduced a different communication task. A restaurant has to convey character and atmosphere while remaining part of the larger resort identity. The wide perspective allows the full dining environment to be understood at once, communicating its scale, energy and intended guest experience while the project was still being developed.

A second perspective shifts the emphasis from the restaurant itself to its relationship with the resort. Looking outward through the open façade brings interior hospitality and the tropical setting into the same visual experience. That connection helps communicate a resort where indoor and outdoor life belong naturally together.
Around the pool, the story expands from individual hospitality spaces to the collective life of the resort. Accommodation, landscape, water and amenities can be read together, making their relationships understandable rather than presenting the pool bar as a standalone feature. The resort begins to emerge as an interconnected guest environment.
